Morris County 9/11 Memorial

Andrew Casse

Located on Route 202 in Parsippany, roughly forty-five miles from the actual ground zero site, lies a monument that represents the people who lost their lives on the frightful day of September 11, named the Morris County 9/11 Memorial. The unique aspect that struck me about the monument was that the monument incorporates actual steel from the fallen towers.

The monument not only represents the fallen men and women who died on September 11, 2001, but it represents America as being aware of what happened that day and coming together as a country to stop it.
